How to Download TikTok Videos on Android
TikTokVDL works in modern Android browsers such as Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. The MP4 is normally saved to the device's Downloads folder and can be opened from the browser or Files app.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Copy a public video URL
Open the video in TikTok, tap Share, and select Copy link. Profile and private-video links are not supported.
2. Paste and process
Open TikTokVDL in your browser, paste the copied URL, and tap Download.
3. Save the result
Tap Save Video and approve the browser download prompt if Android displays one.
4. Open the MP4
Use the browser's Downloads screen or open Files and select the Downloads folder.
Browser permissions
Recent Android versions usually manage downloads automatically, but a browser can still be blocked by storage, data-saver, security, or site settings. Check the browser's download permission and confirm that enough device storage is available.
Avoid unknown downloader apps
A browser-based workflow avoids installing an unrelated APK or granting broad device permissions. Do not install a file offered by an advertisement, and never enter your TikTok password into a downloader.
