How to Download TikTok Videos on iPhone or iPad
You can use TikTokVDL directly in Safari on iPhone or iPad. No iOS app or account is required. The browser normally saves the video to the Files app first, where you can preview or move it.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Copy the TikTok video link
In TikTok, open a public video, tap Share, then tap Copy link.
2. Download in Safari
Open TikTokVDL in Safari, paste the link, select Download, and then choose Save Video when the result appears.
3. Find the file
Tap Safari's download indicator or open Files, then browse to iCloud Drive or On My iPhone and open the Downloads folder.
4. Save to Photos if needed
Open the MP4 in Files, tap Share, and select Save Video. The video should then appear in the Photos app.
If Safari opens the video instead of downloading
Touch and hold the video or download link and choose Download Linked File when that option is available. iOS behavior can vary by version and browser settings.
Check storage and permissions
A failed save can be caused by insufficient storage, Private Browsing restrictions, a content blocker, or an incomplete public link. Confirm that the video plays publicly, disable an interfering blocker temporarily, and try again.
